Fitness Requirements
Are there Fitness Requirements For Your Workouts?In a word, "No." A range of fitness levels, ages, and both genders can be represented in our group on a given workout. I have kettlebells that weigh as little as 9 lbs each, all the way up to about 70 lbs. While our goal is to give the most fit of us in each group a great workout, there is no participation criteria. Bring plenty of water, a yoga mat or towel, and a can-do, positive attitude. We'll take it from there. Beginners and those just underway on their voyage to fitness may not be able to keep up, but there's no shame in that. I would suggest that you listen to your body at each workout, and know where your "red line" is. We don't work to failure; but we do generate "systemic fatigue," a level that is unique to each individual. If you need to sit out a few reps or sets, then do so. No one will yell at you...
