Diet Advice

I don't mean to be cavalier, and your genetic make-up does play a role...but so much diet advice seems to me to be self-evident and elementary.

Unless you're an elite athlete, keep it simple:

-Eat right (hint: more proteins, less carbs)

-Eat smart (hint: more fiber, less saturated fat and sugar)

-Watch your portion sizes (hint: embrace the measuring cup if you must; use smaller dishes--Americans have the largest place settings in the world; it's little wonder we're the fattest. Invest in some chop sticks--that'll cut down on what I call "hogtroughitis")

-Avoid snacking after dinner

-Wait three hours or so after dinner before hitting the sack

-Drink plenty of water

Now having said all that... A GREAT way, low-cal way to up your protein intake is with a protein shake. I've tried a number of different kinds, but my favorite, hands down, is the 100% Natural Optimum Whey protein. Click on the link below--I highly recommend the yummy chocolate! Sipping on a high-protein, low-calorie shake thanks to 100% Natural Optimum Whey will be a great way to help build muscle and trim fat.
